Originally hailing from Surrey, England, Helen's artistic odyssey began with a B.A. in Textile and Fashion design from Winchester School of Art in the UK. Her talents led her to the bustling metropolis of New York City, where she embarked on a remarkable career in the textile industry.
During her early tenure in NYC, Helen rose from trainee to creative director in a leading textile design studio. Over eight transformative years, she honed her craft, cultivating a portfolio of over 4,000 designs and solidifying her reputation as a visionary in the fashion and interiors industry.
In 2008, fueled by a desire to further explore her artistic point of view, Helen founded her own company, establishing a creative sanctuary in the heart of New York’s Hudson Valley. From her Hudson design studio, she continues to craft exquisite textile designs and original artwork, drawing inspiration from the enchanting landscapes that surround her.
Central to Helen's artistic ethos is her profound connection to nature, which infuses her work with a sense of serenity and wonder. Her distinct hand-painted floral designs, created using watercolors, inks, and various paint media, capture the ephemeral beauty of flowers with remarkable grace and authenticity.
